To All Members of the 2nd Malvern Scout Council,
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the 2nd Malvern Scout Council will be held on Wednesday 1st July 2026 from 7:15pm at 2nd Malvern Headquarters, Spring Lane, Malvern, Worcestershire WR14 1AJ.
As members of the 2nd Malvern Scout Council, you are cordially invited to attend. All parents/guardians of Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers are eligible to attend as members of the Group Scout Council.
Following the AGM there will be refreshments and an opportunity to talk to members of the Trustee Board and Section Lead Volunteers.
The outline of the evening is as follows:
- 7:15pm – Arrival – Networking and Refreshments
- 7:30pm – AGM – (see documents below)
- 8:00pm – Refreshments and informal discussions with Section Lead Volunteers

Our Trustees are a team of volunteers who work together, as charity Trustees, to make sure the Group is run safely and legally. At the heart of their role is a focus on strategy, performance and assurance.
Effective Trustees support enables other volunteers to run the Scout programme that gives young people skills for life.
We know you are busy already, but don’t worry – you won’t need to come every week, run a session, or give up all your free time. Typically, our Trustee Board meets 5 times a year and conducts any other business by e-mail.
If you’re thinking about getting involved, please get in touch and we’ll provide you with further information regarding the role.

But of course, we are always looking for a wider selection of volunteers to help us run things, particularly at Squirrel, Beaver, Cub, Scout & Explorer meetings. Can you help?
