Scouts
For young people aged 10½ to 14 years old.
Scouts is the third section of the scouting movement. From the first experimental camp for 20 boys in 1907 the movement has grown to an estimated 31 million members worldwide. There are over 450, 000 boys and girls involved in scouting in the UK alone.
Scouts aims to build and develop young people’s confidence, sense of adventure and outdoor skills, as well as encouraging them to explore their personal beliefs and attitudes.
Meetings
Shackleton Troop: Mondays during term time.
Scott Troop: Fridays during term time.

Uniform
The Scout uniform is a teal/dark green shirt, navy blue activity trousers or skirt and a brown leather scout belt. A group neckerchief and woggle are presented at investiture.
